The Accessibility Center for individuals with Disabilities and/or Special Educational Needs is a central support service at NTUA. Its role is to ensure that all students can participate equally in academic and campus life, with particular care for those with disabilities or special educational needs.
The Unit’s mission is to create an inclusive environment where barriers – whether physical, educational, or social – are removed, and every student is encouraged to reach their full academic potential.
Key services include, among others:
- Accessible study materials and resources
- Adjustments in exams and assessment methods
- Technical support with specialized software and equipment
- Academic and psychological counseling
- Awareness-raising initiatives on equality and inclusion
- Collaboration with external organizations for comprehensive support
By fostering respect, acceptance, and equal opportunities, the Center stands as a reference point for NTUA students and supports their active engagement in the university community.
